Okay, first things first, all of your images have been collected and distributed onto the iMacs in the lab. Each machine has one person’s folder of images sitting on the desktop.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Archive – Backup your work
  2. Edit – You need to take your best images, caption, crop and tone them and drop them on the server. This will include all of your story images as well as any stand alone or packages you shot.
  3. Edit – You need to edit for your audio slide show.
  4. Produce – You need to produce your audio slideshow.

Deadlines: Your portfolio of full-resolution images and your completed audio slide show need to be on the server by 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6. If you need extra time, I can let you in the lab Wednesday afternoon from 3:15 to 5 and Thursday morning at 9 this week. Next week, I can let you in Monday from 3:15 to 5 and Tuesday morning at 9.

Tuesday we’ll talk about the workshop, then you’ll be able to work until 4:30. Thursday we’ll do our two VizCamps, then you’ll have the remainder of the class to work.

It’s going to be busy.
