Will We Meet?

I assume you’re all tracking this storm closely and thinking about how it will impact the first few days of classes. So … how will you tell the story visually?

If you don’t have one already, you need to set up a web site that you can post images, stories, etc., to throughout the semester. (I highly recommend WordPress.com, but Blogspot.com or Tumblr.com can work, too. WordPress will be a little easier as you’ll need to have a WordPress account, anyway, to post here.)

So what do you kick off with? Most of you should have a camera, of some sort, handy – so start shooting Monday morning, wherever you are and whatever happens here. Get a blog post up with some images (or video, if you can) that documents what it’s like here tomorrow morning. If you don’t have a DSLR, a point and shoot or, heck, even your cell phone will work – just shoot something as you scurry about.

Even if the storm is a total bust, what’s Day One like? Maybe you tie in some of the news of the day – the 50th anniversary of the integration of UGA, the historic basketball win over Kentucky, the problems (or fears) of the budget cuts.

Tell me a story …
