Elberton Stories

1) Historical aspect of Elberton: buildings on the square, what the square used to be and what it is now. Elberton went through an economic boom from the turn of the 20th century until the 1960 when urban renewal plans changed the landscape. Interviewing an art historian who wrote books about Elberton and its buildings. I’m also interviewing a shop owner that’s going out of business after 50 years, owned by father (95-years-old) and son. Shots of buildings with owners and copies of buildings from the past.

2) Russell State Park hosts a world-renowned rowing coach every spring, and for the Elberton weekend he will be teaching a class to people who want to learn to row more seriously. However, the number of people attending has dropped significantly in the past year due to the economy. Shots of him teaching and people rowing.
